Outside compact, inside ample space for data: The PC 521

In keeping with Industry 4.0, the PC 521 can retrieve extensive data and parameters from machine systems and store them locally without affecting operation. As an IoT gateway, the compact computer allows an efficient connection to MES, Fog and Cloud solutions.

Equipped with a quad-core CPU (4 x 2.0 GHz), the PC actively collects data in machines or systems and stores all information on the SSD. Up to 8 GB DDR RAM provides sufficient buffer space for processing large data volumes.

The connection to a Cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure for example, can be implemented with the PC 521. In this case, the computer uses Edge Computing to allow filtering of all data according to individual specifications so that only relevant information is sent to the Cloud. This minimizes the data volume to transfer – and therewith costs – and ensures efficient operation.

The PC is delivered with the Windows 10 IoT operating system. Numerous interfaces make the PC 521 universally applicable. 4x Ethernet, 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 1x VGA, 1x Audio as well as 1x HDMI are located on the front for easy access.

With its extremely compact dimensions (W 72.2 x H 195 x D 112.6 mm), the PC fits in practically any control cabinet.
